El Ritmo Inclusivo

El Ritmo Inclusivo is a two-part initiative that combines adaptive Latin movement workshops and creative mentorship for educators- all with the goal of fostering accessibility, collaboration, and well-being among students, families, and teachers in Uniontown’s surrounding rural community.

We kicked things off in Spring 2025 with a ten-week series of fun after-school movement workshops designed for students, held twice a week. These sessions aren’t just about dancing—they’re about helping kids express themselves, work together, and stay physically engaged in a supportive space. To help bridge the gap between the classroom and these creative experiences, we’ll also begin with a kickoff meeting involving Special Education teachers and staff from Laurel Highlands Middle School and Uniontown Area School District. This meeting will launch weekly mentorship check-ins and collaborative support from the Los Sabrosos team—designed to keep teachers engaged, uplifted, and more connected to their students through shared creativity.

We’re proud to share that this program is the first of its kind in the Greater Pittsburgh area, and is a part of the growing relationship we have with the amazing educators of the Uniontown area. At Los Sabrosos Dance Co., we’re honored to grow alongside this community and can’t wait to see what we’ll create together—not just this year, but for years to come!
