Our 21CCLC Out-Of-School Time Program wrapped on May 21st. The summer session will start mid-June. Check out some of the photos from the school year!

We would like to thank PA American Water for their $2,000 grant to continue maintaining our community garden. From volunteering at our monthly food pantry to donating money, we truly appreciate all the different ways PA American Water partners with us!

Our Silver Generation members have been busy making seasonal crafts! They had a lot of fun painting spring decor magnets. They also made paperback marks. Participants picked out the paper and the sticker sentiments that they wanted to be attached and self laminated with a ribbon. Fun was had by all who participated and were able to take their projects home. 

 As we welcome the spirit of March, we're reminded of the joy that comes from community, connection, and a little bit of luck. This season is a wonderful time to celebrate new beginnings, shared traditions, and the positive impact we can make together. Wishing you a month filled with hope, happiness, and plenty of reasons to feel lucky!

It's been a cold and blustery month but our Little Legends children and out-of-school time kids enjoyed themselves with learning and plenty of arts and crafts activities. They also got some time outside in the snow!

As we bid farewell to the last month of summer, we reflect on the warmth and energy this season has brought us. August has been a time of sun-soaked days, and moments of connection that we'll carry with us into the cooler months ahead. Highlights include National Night Out, Community Spirit Day, and prepping for our afterschool students to return! As we transition into fall, let's cherish these last sunny moments and prepare for the new adventures that await.

Welcome to our latest newsletter, where we're gearing up for a summer to remember! With a ton of exciting events and activities lined up, there's something for everyone to enjoy. From outdoor adventures to community gatherings, we've got it all covered. 

We couldn't be more excited to announce the completion of our building expansion project, a milestone that marks a new chapter for our community center. This achievement reflects the culmination of two year's worth of dedication and hard work, coupled with the dreams nurtured over many years.

As April unfolds, bringing its mix of showers and the early signs of nature’s renewal, our community embraces the season of growth with optimism and a sense of renewal. The recent celebrations of Easter, St. Patrick's Day, and Women's History Month have filled us with joy and reflection, strengthening our community bonds and honoring the diverse contributions that enrich our shared experiences.

As we eagerly anticipate the arrival of spring, let's take a moment to reflect on the heartwarming moments of February. We celebrated the love of friendship and community on Valentine's Day, while also honoring the profound contributions of Black individuals throughout Black History Month

As we step into February, we are filled with anticipation for Black History Month. We are excited to engage our youth in a series of activities that will explore the rich tapestry of African American culture, from dance and music to poetry competitions. This month provides a unique opportunity to celebrate and educate, fostering a deeper understanding of our shared history and cultivating a sense of unity within our diverse community.

As we step into the first days of a new year, our thoughts are filled with anticipation and the promise of exciting organizational developments to come. 2024 promises a chapter in our history full of hope, expansion, and a steadfast commitment to uplifting our community.
