 About the 21st Century Community Learning Center's Cohort 11 Out-of-School Time Program

We are a close-knit community dedicated to the education and well-being of our students. Our goal is to provide a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where students can learn, grow, and have fun outside of regular school hours.
 
Who We Serve
  • Uniontown Area School District grades 1 - 5
  • Central Greene School District grades 1 - 5

Locations & Hours
  • East End United Community Center (Uniontown, PA): 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
  • Waynesburg Central Elementary School: 3:15 PM – 5:45 PM

Transportation:
  • Provided from each program location
  • Drop-off at the child’s residence or a designated bus stop

Open Enrollment

Students in Grades 1–5 from the Central Greene School District or Uniontown Area School District (Ben Franklin and Lafayette buildings only) are welcome to join the 21st CCLC Afterschool Program at any time!

  • Request a student application from your school’s office

  • Speak with your Site Coordinator

Family Members Welcome
Parents, guardians, and siblings of students in the 21st CCLC Afterschool Program are encouraged to be active members of our community! Whether it's visiting the program site, attending an Open House, volunteering as a field trip chaperone, or joining a community service project, we welcome and value your involvement. Together, we create a stronger, more connected experience for our students and their families.


STEAM 
The STEAM curriculum emphasizes skill-building in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics, enriched with hands-on activities that spark creativity and curiosity. By blending engaging projects with core STEAM concepts, the program fosters innovation and inspires students to explore these vital fields of study in fun and meaningful ways.

Penn State Cooperative Extension 4-H
This nationally recognized nonprofit provides engaging, STEAM-focused activities that help youth reach their full potential through learning, leadership, service, and friendship. 4-H regularly hosts programs at both of our center locations, offering hands-on learning opportunities that inspire growth and creativity.

The WAY
Based in Greene County, The WAY is a nonprofit organization committed to meeting community needs through strong partnerships and innovative approaches. Their team visits Waynesburg Central Elementary School weekly, delivering impactful programming that supports student development and community engagement.
