East End United
Community Center is the only facility of its kind in Fayette County. We continue
to offer young people a safe place to be; fun, and educationally stimulating
learning activities; a place to join with their friends; and a caring staff to
provide support by continuing to operate an after school program for students of
all ages.A Brief History
East End United Community Center was formed in 1975 in an effort to
increase educational and vocational opportunities for residents of the
Uniontown, Pennsylvania area. Since its early days, it has stood as a vital
resource for the entire community.
Our Caring Corner
East End United Community Center now provides Our Caring Corner, which is
a safe place for grieving children, adolescents and their families who come together
and talk about their memories in an atmosphere of acceptance. It is designed to provide a non threatening environment of peer support, we offer no therapy nor counseling. It is free of charge to qualifying families. Just contact the East End United Community Center and ask for the Our Caring Corner. "Lean on me, share your story with me, special friends we will always be" . is the Our Caring Corner motto.
